Meet Our Founders

Our President and Co-founder, Gerry, proudly embraces his Ojibwe heritage. With a degree in forestry and a background as an Economic Development Officer, Gerry brings a unique perspective to the brand. His expertise as a certified gold seal project manager, ensures that Indigenous Trading Company Inc. operates smoothly and efficiently. Gerry's passion for health and wellness has been a guiding force in his life, and he is committed to sharing the benefits of natural remedies with others.

Alongside his partner in life and business, our Co-Founder and Vice President, Victoria, is a retired flower shop owner turned wellness entrepreneur. She pursued certification in holistic nutrition at CSNN and brings a wealth of experience to NISH Botanicals, understanding the beauty and power of nature. She is passionate about promoting wellness from the inside out. Her love for horses is evident through her proud ownership of a 13-year-old quarter horse and her participation in the NBHA, Extreme Cowboy, Ram Rodeo, and the Ontario Barrel Racing Association. As a holistic wellness advocate and equestrian enthusiast, Victoria integrates her experience and love for horses into her approach to health and well-being, through the mind-body connection and the importance of nurturing ourselves and our animal companions. Inspired by her Metis roots and passion for natural medicine, their shared vision has led them to create NISH Botanicals!
